Choices! We all have them. Every single day we are freely given choices. Today, for instance, we can choose to love or we can choose to be afraid to love. We can choose to help or we can choose to turn away. We can choose to forgive or we can choose to hate. We can choose to be kind or we can choose to be cruel. We can choose to trust or we can choose to be suspicious. We can choose to give or we can choose to take. We can choose to serve or we can choose to be selfish. We can choose to laugh or we can choose to sulk. We can choose to cry or we can choose to hide our hearts. We can choose to smile or we can choose to stress. We can choose to be at peace or we can choose to be at war within ourselves. We can choose to live or we can choose to just exist. We can choose to be a good friend, or we can ignore one in need of our friendship. We can choose to believe God loves us or we can choose to live in doubt. We can choose to shine our lights or we can choose to dwell in darkness. We can choose to make this world more like Heaven for others or we can choose to make this world more like Hell for someone. Choose to have a great day...unless youd rather not. It is your choice. A word from the WORD: God blesses those who are kind to the poor. He helps them out of their troubles. He protects them and keeps them alive; he publicly honors them and destroys the power of their enemies. He nurses them when they are sick and soothes their pains and worries. Psalm 41:1-3 Worth Remembering: When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives means the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. -- Henri Nouwen Tip of the Day: Call or visit someone you have put off contacting. Make time. Today may be your last opportunity!
