Chornobyl: Last Saturday was the 28th anniversary of the worlds worst nuclear disaster. Its affects continue to twist the knife into an already hurting nation, struggling still to shake off this legacy of the Soviet era, yet painfully aware of its on-going menace. For an interesting take on the problem, here is a link to a (long) article by a CNN writer about a group of seniors who have returned to their lands in the exclusion zone, and who appear to be out-living those who were re-located after the disaster of 26 April 1986.
