Chris Lindsay-Abaire and I founded and then co-led Brooklyn PPD Support (brooklynppdsupport.org) for seven years. We have been on a bit of a hiatus for almost a year now, but it is clear that we are a resource that has been missed and is still very much needed in Brooklyn. The EveryDay Athlete generously allowed us to use their space for several years, but the business has grown and they need all of the room they have. As such, we are looking for a new space where we can host a monthly 1.5 hr free support group in Brooklyn for moms and moms-to-be with perinatal mood disorders. We are looking for a place that is quiet, private, and has enough seating for a maximum of eight people. We would prefer to host the meetings on a weekday evening, but will consider a daytime meeting if necessary.
