Chris and I want to reach out to our friends and family to let you all know that we have made some very important decisions about our future together. These have been very difficult decisions to make and we want you to know that through all of this, we do appreciate the love, friendship, and support from each of you as we move forward. We have come to a point in our relationship where we feel that in order for us to each grow, we need to do so separately. We do love each other very much and this obviously makes it harder than it would given different circumstances. We have not made any decisions yet about how we are going to go about the process of untangling our common lives, but we will be working on those things in the coming months. We appreciate the concerns that many of our friends and family have (and some have already expressed) and we do clearly know and understand what we are doing and we have clearly and logically discussed our lives with each other as far as where we want to go in our lives. For those of you who will be coming to see us in early December, we are both excited to see each of you and spend time with you and wanted to put this out there now to ensure the party is about fellowship, love, and we all have a fun time celebrating the holidays together. Thank you all for your support to both of us as we move down unchartered waters and figure out where we go from here.
