Chriss update day 6: on Saturday we started on the 1st floor in the ER. We then went to the 2nd floor to the ICU. Today Chris now now the 3rd floor in what is called Step Down ICU. So he is moving up in the world and he is progressing. This morning I helped him walk around the ICU and he did very well however one lap and he was tired. He seemed to be fairly coherent and remembering things. They were going to push him with PT and stimulation today. So tonight he is very tired and he wants to rest which is good. He still not have much of an appetite and it has been very nice of those who have come to see him to bring the Jamba Juice or milk shakes. It has been helping him get some nutrition that he really needs. He does not have a lot of the drinks but it is more nutrition than what he is getting on the hospital food. We are truly blessed that we have made it to this point and had so many things gone right and many times in the most unusual way. As I was describing some of these to a client she said it was like we have this protective cocoon around us. I know it has been the hand of The Lord watching over us and Chris. This could not have been done with out all of the prayers in his behalf. Thank You!
