Christ Church Workers in the Vineyard All peoples , clap your hands , shout to God with cries of joy . For the LORD most high is terrible , a great king over all the earth . He shall subdue the people under us, and nations under our feet . He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved . Joyfully climbed GOD , JEHOVAH with trumpet sound . Sing to God , sing praises unto our King , sing praises because God is the King of all the earth: sing ye wisely. He reigned over the nations: God sitteth upon his holy throne GOD . The princes of the peoples gather as the people of the God of Abraham , because of GOD are the shields of the earth: he is greatly exalted . ( Psalm 47 ) . I will sing to the LORD , for he has covered himself in glory , has thrown into the sea horse and rider. JEHOVAH is my strength and song . It has been my salvation. This is my God , whom I praise , the God of my father, I will exalt him . (Ex 15: 1-2 ) . When you enter the land which the LORD , your God , gives you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations . Not be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, or enchantment , or a sorcerer, or a charmer , or a medium , or a wizard, or who consults the dead. Because it is an abomination to JEHOVAH all that do these things , and because of these abominations the Lord your God , cast out those nations before you. Be blameless before the LORD , your GOD . For these nations, which thou shalt possess , soothsayers and diviners to hear, but you do thee so to do LORD , your GOD . ( Dt 18 , 9-14 ) . A prophet like me will lift LORD , your God , in the midst of thee , of thy brethren shall listen to him . According to all that you asked of the LORD your God , at Horeb on the day of the assembly , saying: " Let us not hear the voice of the LORD my God , neither let me see this great fire , lest die " . And the LORD said, " Well is that they have said ." A raise them up a prophet like you from among their brothers ; put my words in his mouth and he will tell them everything I command him . But anyone who does not hear the words he speaks in my name, I will require it . ( Dt 18 , 15-19). The prophet who presumes to utter a word in my name that I have not commanded him to utter, or speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die . You may say in your heart : " How shall we know that this is not word of the LORD ? " . When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD , and not fulfilled what happens or said , that word is not LORD . By prophet has spoken it presumptuously shalt not be afraid of him . ( Dt 18 , 20-22). For you are a holy people to the LORD , your GOD , LORD , your GOD , I have chosen you to be a people , above all people that are upon the earth. Not because you were the most numerous of all peoples LORD hath loved you and chose you , for you were the fewest of all peoples, but because LORD loved you and kept the oath he swore to your fathers , so I LORD has taken a mighty hand , and redeemed you out of bondage , from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt . Know therefore that the LORD your God is God , faithful God , which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him .
