Christ Family Devotional Guide by Ps. Bright. Theme: Fear Not! “For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, fear not, I will help you.” Isa. 41:13. One day, a child who took a stroll with the father realised that there is no fear when the father is involved, even if it seemed so. At the beginning, the child held the father’s hand with the intention to get all his attention but the father continued to focus straight on the road. The child thought the father’s attention was not with him so he was afraid of the speedy cars and the barking dogs. They got to a point where it was hilly, rough and slippery, so the father now stretched forth his right hand and carry him on his shoulder. He said “Fear not! I am with you; I knew when and where to carry you. I have observed the road and know where there is no danger.” Beloved, it seems some believers are not different from that child. Though, they appear to hold God’s hand, they are still not stable but extremely afraid of the storms around them. Do not be like Peter, who took off his focus from Jesus to the storm and began to sink even though Jesus ordered him to walk on the sea to Him. In life, the storm will surely arise, yours is to continue to focus on Jesus and hold His hands firmly. There is no fear when Jesus is involved. Relax! Again, I say, relax! Cast all your burdens on Christ for He cares, and let Him handle them. With Jesus, you can walk over your problems and smile at the storms. Meditation: “You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day” Ps. 91:5 Declaration: Dear LORD, I (full name), I thank you so much that You are with me in every situation. Forgive me of doubt and continue to hold me in your righteous right hands in Jesus Christ name. Amen! Prayer: Daddy LORD, from today, I believe that every storm that threatens the life of the above declarer has come to an end in Jesus Christ name!!! Let the redeemed of the LORD say, “Amen” to claim it done.
