Christ came as a man as the epitomy of Gods love. Satan never saw it coming. Cast to earth while it was yet formless and dark, he had no knowledge that God formed man in His image (which was the spot Satan attempted to usurp). He saw man as Gods creation... Something he could corrupt. Satan ruptured the intimacy of God and man, a separation that would last until Christs resurrection. Just think... The joy and revelry amongst Satan and his demons that day as the Son was murdered. The joy and dismay as He joined them in hell. But God! He had other plans! He constantly confounds the plans of the enemy. Christ broke the hold of Satans grasp on mankind. Setting captives free. As Moses brought the slaves out of Egypt, so to, Jesus set the captives free, forever breaking Satans hold on the hearts and souls of men. Can you get it? Have you gotten it? The grace of God bridged the unbridgable gap between man and God. Broke the curse of Satan. That same grace is to be manifest in our lives, as we lay our lives down for others. Remember... His strength is perfected in our weakness. He wants to work through us, not in spite of us.
