Christ came to set the captive free. The Lord continues to show more of His truth: Freedom isnt the coming, going and doing as you please. Freedom is in the mind. That is why the Apostle Paul, John Bunyun and others can be joyful and praising God each day while sitting in a filthy dungeon called a prison. That is why Brother Lawrence could be doing the dishes and closer to God than in a church sanctuary. We all strive for freedom, The Land of the Free. The world says if onlyWe as a nation have more freedoms than probably anytime in history. So the question is: Then why are suicides, murder, depression, drug abuse higher today than in 1776, when our nation fought for freedom. I love my country and that is why I share the post and keep up with politics as I can, but the only true joy I have and will ever receive is in Christ the Lord, the Almighty.
