Christian Seneres, speaking at the Butuan assembly of the National Transformation Council in Nov. 11, 2014: Notwithstanding the unfortunate realities suffered by our country today; the death of democracy and the massive thievery through the pork barrel; I am most optimistic and hopeful because of the National Transformation Council and because of you who are here today as we believe that we can change our country for the better. When we succeed, our highest undertaking would be the enactment of a new Constitution for our country, one that shall be more responsive, effective, dynamic and flexible; one that will provide all future generations of Filipinos with the means to rise to any challenge and enable them to unleash their social and economic potentials; and one that will provide the Bangsamoro with genuine self-determination. A Constitution that is so well-written that it will last until the end of history.
