Christian rant no. 1. As a Christian I find the Halal question relatively non-confusing. Britain First Christians like to harp on about not eating food sacrificed to foreign gods (which I agree with) which is a scriptural instruction. If youre killing it to eat it, then youre not sacrificing it! Halal means permissible and pertains to objects and actions. Arguably Facebook is an action, Muslims use Facebook, therefore Facebook must be Halal. Why do Britain First use it as their preferred choice of (anti)social media then? The Halal rules with regard to food are that it needs to be blessed, yes blessed, NOT sacrificed. I say grace, that does not mean my food has been sacrificed!
