Christianity has nothing to do with good and bad behavior, because whether an action is ultimately positive and constructive has nothing to do with ancient myths or the supposed pronouncements of invisible lawgivers in the sky. So, Im growing a bit weary of posts by liberal Christians taking their conservative Christian neighbors to task for not being real Christians. And Im not talking about the No True Scotsman fallacy (though thats a good point, too). Im talking about the fact that NO version of Christianity has anything at all to do with any ACTUAL distinction between good and bad. Nowhere does the Bible advise people to pause for a moment and reflect upon the actual, real-world ramifications of their actions. All it ever says is, dont do X because God says so.
