Christianity is built on honoring Christ and showing ONE ANOTHER - TopicsExpress

Christianity is built on honoring Christ and showing ONE ANOTHER more honor than yourself. Many times Christians in their prideful, arrogant, self-seeking ways forget those who help them in order to retract their debt of love and falsely-piously give glory to God breaking the second commandment of our Lord which is equal to the first, Mark 12:31, The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” We forget this and focus on our own emotion, feelings and accomplishments without consideration of how the other feels. Romans 12:10 Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Most Christians dont know what this means and when they have accomplished something they get on their high horse forgetting those who have helped them, with no thanks man or I appreciate your wisdom leaving the other to feel neglected or looked over. The Apostle Paul was great at showing honor to the brethren and thanking them for what they have done for him. Let us not be deceived. God gets glory when you show praises of a brother as well, and it gives the brother a clear conscience to direct that right back to God. But, if you go on as if that person did nothing for you, when you attempt to give that person advice he may be hardened by the sin of envy. Lastly, Let us lay a hold of the love that we are called to. Watch what you say about people, for you may falsely represent them, even in your sincerity, just as we know some evangelist falsely represent our Lord in all sincerity. Always hope the best and examine yourself to see if you are actively breaking the 2nd greatest commandment (equal to the first) that our Lord preceded. For you may cause your brother to stumble into deep sin and a hardened heart by not considering them or acknowledging them. This doesnt justify them wanted to be acknowledged publicly, but it also doesnt justify pious blurts of glory to God to alleviate our debts of love (Romans 13:8). Romans 12:3 For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. I tagged folks because I really want them to see this, it doesnt necessarily mean this is directed to you. And If anyone has an objection call me or inbox me, I dont debate on facebook post. #JOE
