Christianity is not a message of hate, but rather it is a message of LOVE. A love that led our Savior, Jesus Christ to be beaten, spit on, abused, rejected, abandoned, & led to die a terribly brutal death on a cross. And the story didnt end there...He literally took the sins of humanity on Himself, & for 3 days went to hell to pay the eternal punishment for the sins of those who would accept His free gift of salvation. Jesus did this all so that we could be forgiven by God, & FREE from our sin, not justify it, remain in it, & disregard what His precious blood was shed for. And in categorizing sin...sin is sin. As much as we would like to interpret what we define as sin, the Bible clearly does that for us. Im so thankful that the Gospel truly has power, not just to give us fire insurance, but to give us a transformed heart & life - to bring us into the freedom of who we were created to be. I do not condemn you, either. Go. From now on sin no more. ~Jesus (John 8:11)
