Christine Bohannon I have very thick hair (easily 4d) and that becomes a bit of a problem...Its down past my shoulders but it looks about 2-3 in from my scalp in completely natural form. I have very thick, tight coils (when my hair falls out, it scrunches into flat circles about 5 mm thick). Its relatively dry, although coconut oil goes a long way. My question today actually has to do with how to more easily braid my hair. Right now, to save money, Ive been braiding my own hair but its so thick that I have to twist it first, then braid it. When I try to start my hair, it takes so long to part it (can be frustrating since it folds over any clips I use). Anyone have any ideas about how I can more easily braid my hair? Or at least how to keep it down when I twist/braid it? Thanks
