Christine Norton - Artisan Jewelry christinenortonjewelry/gallery.html Christine Norton has worked in different art mediums since she was a teenager. For years she was primarily focused in fibre arts but a jewellery class over ten years ago changed her focus and she been a jewellery artist ever since. Certified in Precious Metal Clay in 2003, this has been her primary medium ever since. Her metal clay designs have appeared multiple times in the PMC Guild Annual and The Art of Metal Clay Calendar. Her work has been modelled by Alison Starling on the ABC Morning News in Washington, D.C. as well as Molette Green on WJLA Morning News in Rosslyn, VA. In 2011, Christine co-curated a two part online exhibition titled New Directions: Powder Metallurgy (Metal Clay) in a Sheet Metal World on Crafthaus. She also co-created a catalog to benefit CERF+ based on the online exhibitions. In 2012, she helped jury and produce Holly Gages annual The Art of Metal Clay and More Calendar.
