Christmas Carols at All Saints’ Church Every year I always enjoy the hymns and carols at the Christmas Carol concert at All Saints Church, which usually features a stirring rendition of “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” and “O Come All Ye Faithful”. This year was no exception! At a time of conflict and strife in many locations around the globe it is apt to reflect on those in desperate need around the world, including those Christians being persecuted for their beliefs across the Middle East in Syria, Iraq and elsewhere. This year the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols was attended by the Lord Lieutenant of Northamptonshire, the High Sheriff, Earl Spencer, the Mayor of Northampton and many others in a packed congregation.
