All this took place to fulfill what The Lord had said through the prophet: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call Him Immanuel which means, God with us. Matthew 1:21-23 EMMANUEL MEANS GOD WITH US. 1) GOD IS WITH YOU. The angel went to her and said, Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you. Luke 1:28 2) GOD WAS WITH YOU. He restored the chief cupbearer to his position, so that he once again put the cup into Pharaoh’s hand— Genesis 40:21 You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. Genesis 50:20 3) GOD WILL BE WITH YOU. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
