Christmas Eve: I went to the 5:00 church service with Patty, - TopicsExpress

Christmas Eve: I went to the 5:00 church service with Patty, Emily & Adam. After church was over, Emily took me & Adam out to the Medayto house (its right next to the Green Lake Bible Camp Chrysalis House) for hors doeuvres (a French word for appetizers). Then around between 7:30 & 8 p.m. we went to John & Connies for pork roast (Patty likes to call it roast beast, Uncle Phil is the one who gets to carve the roast with an electric knife) & mashed potatoes & for dessert, Yule Log! NUM! Christmas Day: Opened presents in the morning at home (I got a BIG Hersheys chocolate kiss & three chocolate Santas & other cool gifts), then went to Brians house for more gifts (I got a brand-new keyboard & played it @ the Medayto house!), and then at around 11:30 ish went over to the Medayto house & spent some time with relatives --- great to see Christa, Chris, Phil, Rocky, Karianne, her boyfriend Berge (the two love life in San Diego, California - no other place to be for them I guess), Ed-Kay, Brent, Jen, Kaed, Kyan, Luther-fisk, Kelly, Marin, Ian, John, Connie, Katie Margo, Jamie, Jessica, their baby girl Josselyn (6 mos. old), Janice & Ron, Kurt, Claire & her boyfriend John Broughton (hes in his 30s), also Naoko! For supper I ate 23 meatballs, mashed potatoes & corn & for dessert I saved room for some dessert (which consists of mint ice cream & chunks of Butterfinger & Oreo cookies). I played a couple of games too (Santa shake & O Christmas tree)! I tried to make all the gumballs in one empty 2-liter bottle of soda fall down into another empty 2 liter bottle with just one hand in under a minute (used my strength)!!! For O Christmas tree, we had to stack 36 cups starting with 8 cups on the bottom, then 7, 6, 5, 4 & so on. That was kind of hard! Then we had to start stacking the cups from top to bottom, going in a diagonal way. Today: I went to work @ Hardees, with almost many dishes to wash --- but I did it all! I also took out cardboard & garbage & smashed down the garbage bins in the dining area (there are three of them, one in the front, two in the back)! My work friends & managers tell me how much of a real good job I do like always!!!!! After coming home from work, Emily who had Danielle Nichols over asked me if I wanted to come over to the Medayto house again (for Grandma Fran donut day) and I said yes. So I changed from my Hardees clothes into comfy PJs --- and when we got to Medayto, Janice was there, as were Christa, Chris, Phil, Rocky, Lynn, Steve Rothmeier, his daughter Alexis who is 13 & an 8th grader, Ellery (age 2), all the Rauks, John, Connie, Jamie & Jess (Joss was sleeping, havin a little nap) & Naoko! Wasnt it great to see the Scheevel clan these last couple of days? P.S. The holidays are not even quite the same without Grandma Judy --- Christmas was her favorite time of the year! Also, during church, we sat by Halee Doty (miss her - but it was great to see her!)
