Christmas Memory #1 One time I had the big idea to put up my Christmas Tree by the end of June and began buying presents early. Anyone who knows me knows that I love buying all kinds of chocolates. So by mid December I had almost 30 boxes of chocolates under the tree and I got into the habit of moving the tree around the living room just so I could change it up a bit. One morning one of the kids looked at me and said Is the tree over the vent? It will be fine there? none of the presents will get ruined? Of course I looked over very proud of the accumulation of generous gifts under our tree when suddenly I screamed OMG! The chocolates! Well there was only one thing to do. We all sat there one night and opened all the boxes (just to make sure they were not ruined) and we all sat there for two days eating chocolates that had melted all over inside the gift wrap. :D
