Christmas Song of the Day XV-- 1-- Paul Young had perfect - TopicsExpress

Christmas Song of the Day XV-- 1-- Paul Young had perfect timing: Every Time you go Away hadnt even been released and HE gets to lead off this star-studded song? All while looking like he slept on the studio steps the night before. 2-- Fantastic edit between George Michael and Simon LeBon at Christmas time/its hard but when youre having fun...also notable for the complete absence of Andrew Ridgley (hey, you bring Georges ex to the chalet in Last Christmas, you pay the price). 3-- BONO wins the day with tonight thank God its them...INSTEAD OF YOUUUU! Sting and Simon try to one up each other with the U2 frontman in the previous verse and the guy just smashes them both to pieces. 4-- How did they get Billy Zabka (2:11, 2:18, 2:23) to sing on this track? Unless thats somebody else, of course... 5-- Cool to see Bananarama dropping by... Kool and the Gang is the BAND-AID version of We are the Worlds Dan Aykroyd. 6-- David Bowie was originally supposed to sing the first lines of the song but couldnt fit it in his schedule--his agent made it up to him by getting him into that video duet of Dancing in the Streets with Mick Jagger. https://youtube/watch?v=bjQzJAKxTrE
