Christmas announcement: Up until now, I have not spoken aloud about The Loop Complex. For 7 years I have called The Loop my home. It was my first bartending job, and the first place I ever looked forward to working every single week. Every weekend I had the pleasure to work with people who became like family to me. And every weekend, the familiar faces, the new comers, and the old friends all came and gave me the great pride in calling myself a Loop bartender. Jay Zeman was the first boss I ever had to exemplify what it means to run and operate an establishment with both integrity and passion. With the coming of Christmas day, Ive felt a sadness knowing that I was not going to behind that bar. For 7 years so many of you have given me the great honor of making you drinks every Christmas night, and for that I want to thank you. Today I ask you for one last time. On December 25th, Myself and the great Jay Zeman will take a place behind the bar at Foundry. For me, this is a moment representing great change and growth. So in commemoration, lets fill this bar with every wonderful face thats passed through that old staircase and make this a night to remember. Let the double mudds pour, let the music play loud, and let us celebrate Christmas the way baby Jesus always intended. Please spread the word.
