Christmas eve cracker down the Burgh! This one’s a little - TopicsExpress

Christmas eve cracker down the Burgh! This one’s a little bit special if we say so ourselves, not only a stunning fish from a special place where carp waters are concerned, but the fact it was caught on Christmas eve makes the capture just that little bit more special. RG consultant Tom Stokes made out on the two hour trip to his syndicate, not having a bite from the water since the start of October he wasn’t holding any high hopes that the magic was going to happen this time round. Not one to be deterred and sticking to his guns he decided to drop back in an area he’d planned to focus his winter campaign on, the spots were primed with a mix of whole and crumbed 12mm 365 boilie and matching hookbaits were cast over the top, leaving Tom to sit back and cross his fingers in the hope of an early present. Somebody must have been looking down on him, the morning of Christmas eve saw his Neville let off a one toner and just a short while later he was slipping the net under this stunning dark Burghfield mirror. Settling the scales at 34.8 the fish certainly is a winter result to say the least and a definite case of effort being rewarded, we’re more than confident there’s plenty more to follow, top angling, top result! Well in that man!!!
