Christmas for fans of Judy Garland and the movie which helped to make her a star, The Wizard of Oz, as Judy reprises her role as Dorothy in the beloved classic airing today on the popular CBS radio program, Lux Radio Theater. The only returning cast member of the original 1939 classic, twenty-eight year old Miss Garland is at a pivotal place in her life; personally and professionally. She is legally separated from her husband, Vincente Minnelli, and is currently dating producer Sid Luft. In September Judy severed her fifteen year relationship with MGM while still regarded as one of Hollywoods most popular stars; completing an extraordinary and successful chapter in her life. The world has yet to discover what is in store when Judy embarks on the next phase of her career; her legendary Concert Years which will begin with her engagement at the London Palladium in England next Spring. It will seem for fans of the great Judy Garland that she really has found her place over the rainbow where her dreams have come true - on stage singing in front of a live audience. - Chris Stevens
