Christmas has come early for redzonecats with the delivery of 170kg of cat biscuits from Purina - shown here being delivered by Mainfreight with enthusiastic assistance from Janes associate Malcolm (in lab coat). Also, Canterbury CSL included redzonecats in their Christmas collection for charity, resulting in a large box of donated food and toys - some were even gift wrapped! Thanks to Carmel and Ailsa for their roles in these donations. Thanks also to volunteer Miree and her Mum for spreading the word among work colleagues and friends, resulting in financial donations. Christmas will be special for Dal-7, a tabby cat we have been watching since March in Dallington. She never appeared except on camera, after dark, the same as Dal-11 (posted 9 December). We trapped Dal-7 on Friday night and she is cuddly and delighted to be safe again. We have called her Ava and now that we have colour photos and know her gender we will advertise her as Found.
