Christmas in Orlando - One of the MOST EXHILARATING EXPERIENCE - EVER! Some of the VERY BEST experiences in life are ABSOLUTELY FREE! But you simply MUST acquire and maintain a SPIRIT OF ENGAGEMENT and WONDER and an ATTITUDE OF ABSOLUTE GRATITUDE. (NOTE TO ALL OF THE POOR BORED YOUNG PEOPLE AND SOME NOT SO YOUNG!) Three questions in EVERYTHING you find yourself involved in (the good stuff) - ARE YOU REALLY AND FULLY IN? ARE YOU OPEN TO SEE THINGS YOU NEVER PAID ATTENTION TO BEFORE? DO YOU RECOGNIZE, WITH THANKFULNESS, THE EFFORT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE PUT FORTH TO CREATE A LIVING EXPERIENCE THAT YOU HAVE BEEN INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN? I lived in Orlando/Kissimmee from the end of 2002 through the very beginning of 2005 - Id still be there now if it werent for SEVERAL hurricanes that decided to come up that track for the first time EVER - after I moved there! SHEESH. Now if you are down that way, you simply MUST go to Millenia Mall in early November when they bring Santa Claus in and BE THERE DEFINITELY on Christmas Eve! WOW! Every year, my daughter and I would go to the Millenia Mall and WHAT A FABULOUS TREAT! The Disney people collaborate, as well as so many others. This here is BETTER THAN Disney! No joke. First, there is a grand parade and they bring Santa in BY AIR - just AWESOME! And throughout there are so many entertainment events going on as you shop. But on Christmas Eve we used to sit right there on the floor and just WATCH, SING, CHEER, CLAP, HOLLER - OH MAN - there is an overflow of activity, singing, stilt walkers, characters, free cookies, and then Santa reads the Night Before Xmas. That part where he says and giving a nod up the chimney he rose - OH MY GOD, he literally disappears from the bottom of the chimney and then appears all the way up at the top of the Atrium ceiling!!!!! Freakin PRICELESS!
