Christmas is coming soon - if you havent noticed yet. ;-) For me personally the Christmas season is a time of reflection. The more I think about what happend during the year, the more thankful I am. Thankful for our daughter, who was born in January, thankful for my loving husband and for a great family that surrounds me, thankful for friends who are such a blessing to our family, our church... The more thankful I am, the more I seek him. Do you feel the same way sometimes? Being thankful makes me spend even more time with THE one - who is the author of everthing (including my life ;-)). The more I seek him, the more I find him and the more I find him, the more I love him. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9,6 Soon we will be celebrating the Prince of Peace, the Wonderful, the Counsellor, the mighty God, the Hope - when life seems hopeless, the Grace - when all I need(ed) was/ is grace... What a God, that gives his only son for you, for me, for everyone! We will be celebrating LOVE. “God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3,16 Its not only that he gave his son to us out of love - there is even more: Eternal life for those who believe! For me this is by far the greatest gift of all times! Lets take a few minutes today, close your eyes and take a time of reflection. The year 2014 is coming to an end soon. - I bet you will find a lot to be thankful for. Its time to seek him - find him - and love HIM!
