Christmas is getting closer. I spent Saturday in Brighton browsing the arty independent shops in the back laines. Bought some good pressies and hunting for a £5 secret Santa gift. When I found something worth getting for a fiver I leapt at it. I left it with the stall holder while I shopped more. When I managed to escape from TK Max with so much I could barely carry it, I got back to pick-up my pot and realised how impractical it was. I could barely lift it! It is a massive garden pot from a house clearance.I have a 15 minute walk from my 2 and a half hour train journey to get to work. How the heck I thought I was going to get it in? I just envisaged it sitting there all big and wrapped up. Now I need to think of a better pressie. Still I had a great day all by myself, sifting through little shops with out the hrumphing that comes when shopping with my dearly beloved.
