Christmas is that time of the year when love is everything you shall feel around you. Families gather around one table, often to enjoy this occasion to be together since our roads many times dont lead the same way and fate separates us during the year. Those who are more fortunate spend their Christmas in a wide circle of their loved ones while those less fortunate stay connected with their thoughts (people living/working far away from their homes) or feel the warmth of people who care about them and wont let them lose this magic by staying with them and making smile on their faces by letting them know they are not alone (this is what my pals from Comunità di SantEgidio - Community of SantEgidio and Sant Egidio Czech Republic do and I do as well every time Im able to). I was meant to work this Christmas. My only wish was to spend it with my family even though I knew in substance its been always a privilege after you once leave your childhood shoes. Once I accepted it as it was, after spending several days with my closest ones and friends because one week is just not enough to truly enjoy your stay and travel two countries at the same time, a miracle happened. I dont know if I should call it a miracle. Losing your flight is not pleasant at all. But a message from your friend afterwards who will keep you swimming is a miracle. This Christmas is a miracle. And I just think, if you really want something, if you give it your heart and your soul, your thoughts and your wishes, everyone can make a miracle. Trust in the energy that surrounds you. Trust in love. Trust in God. Allah. Nature. Whatever you call it. But give it everything and you will make a miracle. Merry Christmas to everyone, close and distant, poor and rich, young and old, wise men and disciples, of every skin colour, nationality and belief.
