Christmas movies have always been a traditional treat for me during the holidays. My life-long friend Mark Faulkner is the only one who exceeds my passion. Over the years, we have re-discovered old films, shared self-recorded TV versions with edited commercials, notified each other of upcoming favorites, and so on. Mark is the movie master of all time in our group. He has saved Christmas for me more than once. I am grateful for our friendship and for those nostalgic flicks! So...I found one that I had never seen on Showtime from BBC. Lost Christmas is the story of a troubled kid in Manchester, England whose parents were killed the previous year. He has lost his dog and is searching with the help of a friend of his father and a homeless man with partial amnesia. I was pleasantly surprised at the ending and got that little tear in my eye which signifies my thumbs up. The movie will be shown four more times prior to Christmas day. Set your recording machines for a nice treat at 11:45 this morning on Showtime...or check listings for the other three.
