Christs college, in Cambridge, has a very illustrious alumni record, with one of the alumnus being Reverend William Paley. Paleys book Natural Theology argued that all of creation showed clear signs of a divine designer, a God, and that human anatomy is a prime example of such a design and its designer. Years later, a young student with the aspirations of becoming a priest, came to Christs college and was completely awed by the fact that he was allotted the same room that was once occupied by William Paley. However, the young students later research compelled him to reach somewhat different conclusions, for that young student was Charles Darwin .
