Chronic Pain Specialist Dr Chris Hayes from the Hunter Integrated Pain Service will present at an Australian Musculoskeletal Network seminar in Byron Bay on Saturday June 7th (long weekend). This seminar is primarily aimed at healthcare professionals with an interest in chronic pain, but is open to everyone. Seminar topics will include: * Correctly identifying people with chronic pain in clinical practice. * Understanding the patho-physiology of chronic pain. * Developing a Toolkit to provide practical management solutions. * Making essential referral contacts with both local practitioners and industry leaders in chronic pain management. * Designing an effective chronic pain practice. Dr Hayes has developed his Primary Care Tool Kit to help practitioners develop the Practical Strategies to Assess, inform, manage and monitor patients with Chronic Pain.
