Chronicles of the California Kid ( from the Windy City) 1st impressions of San Diego. I think I will love it here. Even though I found out my rental car trolley was late because they can t get enough employees to work on Sunday> surfs up I guess! As pissed as i was WELL I can relate & I dont even Surf- go figure? :) Next I have been jaywalking all across the gaslamp qtr. Inadvertently , I did so right in front of parked, yet occupied SD cop car. Need-less- to say- the officer was oblivious to my felonious act. I felt obligated to turn my self in.. Well, I shit you not, I ignored this feeling. Imagine that!?? Next, I am staying at very swank hotel, just off the qtr. I pointed out to a dr friend of mine ; that if i had his money , i would just stay here in the hotel. The dr , asshole tha he is, quickly pointed out that i dont have his money nor enough of my own, to do so. I ve digressed SO, upon my leaving said swank hotel, my city trained eye spots a bum( homeless for you PC assholes) Fortunately, mr bum had his back to me> I say this as i ascertained he was peeing on a tree. In front the hotel! I always said if i was homeless i would live in the southwest! Now I know why!
