Chuave to Fomo Road Sealing Update: I apologize ladies and gentlemen, for my lapse in not keeping you in the loop progressively on Siane Patriots FB, on the progress of the road sealing. I have been tightly scheduled with other pressing tasks in Madang, Popondetta and Port Moresby. By the way, owing to our Sealing Truck Driver/Operator absconding employment, we lagging behind the projected completion date. Note that; Sealing Truck Drivers/ Operators are a scarce human resource in our line of business, and their market is on demand. They are a bargainable bunch, and the right price buys their expertise. We regret this unforeseen impediment, but this was beyond our control. This caused the set back and our anticipation for a fully fledged sealed road before X-mas fell short. As I edit, Sealing is in progress at Lende.The sealing up to the peak of Mourawau is completed, and we are now advancing into Siane Valley destined for the designated, end of the project – Fomo Bus Stop. We mobilized our personnel and machinery into Lende and Yomba Airaro for accommodation and for storage, so work can commence/ and progress work in a timely manner instead of travelling out of Chuave Depot each working day. Our personnel and machinery are now based at both these locations for convenience to attend to their daily tasks. Completion of sealing is now rescheduled to March 2014, considering the X-mas and New Year period, not mentioning other unforeseen obstructive causes. Otherwise, we are getting there.
