Chuck and Mary Burns joined me for the 4th and 5th down in Ouray/ Silverton/ Rio Grande. Did Imogene Pass, Ophir Pass, and Stony Pass on Friday. Imogene had rain and then snow near the top. Ophir had rain coming down in sheets. Jeeped the Rio Grande and then north to Lake City for the best lunch you ever had. Poker Alice Pizza has by far the best Calzones Chuck or I have ever eaten. Their pizza looked positively great too. Had to wait a while for the food--- it was WORTH IT!!! Returned to Ouray by way of the Alpine Loop. Henson Creek is absolutely beautiful right now. Intended to camp in Poughkeepsie Gulch -- but raining buckets going down Mineral Creek so we elected to come home. Had a blast!!!! Thanks Chuck and Mary.
