Church Announcements and Community Concerns 1st Sunday, August 4, 2013 1. Youth Revival will be held August 5-6, 2013 @ 6:30 nightly. The Revivalist will be Rev. Christopher Carter of Harper United Methodist Church in Baxley, Georgia. 2. Engagement: Pastor Angrish will preach Revival Service Thursday, August 8th @ 7 p.m. at Duresville AME Church on Millerfield Road, Macon. He is asking the church to accompany him. Rev. Dianne Lewis serves as pastor. 3. EMMD & YPD Planning Meeting – Saturday, August 10th @ Saint Paul. 4. EMMD Steward Confirmation Service – Saturday, August 10th @ 12 noon at Saint Paul-Macon. 5. The WMS will meet Tuesday, August 13th @ 5 p.m. 6. The Steward Board will meet Tuesday, August 13th @ 6 p.m. 7. The Trustee Board will meet Tuesday, August 13th @ 7 p.m. 8. Interfaith Exchange – Sunday, August 25th Mulberry Street United Methodist Church Sunday School members will be attending Saint Paul AME Church Sunday School. On Sunday, September 29th @ 11:00 a.m. Saint Paul will travel with Rev. Angrish to Mulberry Street UMC, 719 Mulberry Street, Macon, to participate in their Sunday worship service. Rev. Tommy Mason, Senior Pastor. 9. The Men of Paul & The Sons of Allen will sell BBQ Dinners on Sunday, September 1st - BBQ, Brunswick Stew, Cole Slaw, Tea, Dessert for $7.00. See Harold Taylor for more information. 10. Back to School is here…Please donate School Supplies for our youth. There is a box in the foyer. See Sis. LaKeitha Watson for more info. 11. The Watch Dog Program is a father/male mentoring program at Northeast High School. Their goal is to provide support and assistance at Northeast. School starts on August 5th. Please contact Dr. Quintin Green, Principal at Northeast, to see how you can assist. He really needs your help. He can be reached at [email protected] or at the school. 12. The Intercessory Prayer Ministry will pray at the church ea Wednesday from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. Read Matthew 26:36-41. See Rev. Sidney Watson for more info. 13. Any information pertaining to the Media Ministry should be emailed by 5 p.m. on Wednesdays. Please have information emailed to us two weeks in advance. New Bus Rule: The keys must be signed out for use during the regular office hours. No longer will a Trustee open up for you to get the key; which will no longer be at the Welcome Center. If user can be accommodated in a car, do not use the bus. You must not put gas in the bus except for church pick-up. The bus will no longer take riders to store while in route to their homes. 15. Any ministry using a room & serving food, must please make sure the room is cleaned and the trash emptied. 16. We will soon do an inventory. Each ministry using church property (tables, chairs, etc.) must have items in the room. Give copy of inventory to Jewel Dorsey. Contact # 478-745-4885. 1 All ministries or individuals who will need the church open for meetings, please notify the Trustee Pro Tem so that date can be assigned to a Trustee to insure that the doors will be open with little or no interruptions.
