Church family, I ask that you pray for the family of Jenny Groothuis. I only knew of her through blogging/adoption circle but she was killed in a car accident yesterday. She was a sister in Christ, the mother of 15 beautiful children, many of which had lost another mother earlier in their lives, a wife....She lived a life of faith and obedience and when she only had 14 children, she said yes to another daughter with special needs. The only family that came forward with a resounding yes when they had 14 excuses they could have given. We are not promised another day on this earth. Be good to those around you, love fiercely, and advocate for the vulnerable. What a loss. What a legacy. God be with them.
