Church is important and God told us to not forsake the assembling of ourselves (Heb 10:24-25). It’s a command. Church is for our own good because God wants us united and we need each other, but it’s not a place we go to get conformed. Church is a place we all come together to learn and be transformed. It’s a place to celebrate God and one another’s transformation, too. It’s where we meet and encourage each other, and get stirred up so that we can go back out into the world where the lost souls are
