Churros and Sunday mornings have always been good friends in - TopicsExpress

Churros and Sunday mornings have always been good friends in Spain. Churros stalls have their busiest time of the week on Sundays. They start very early in the morning welcoming hungry young customers coming back home after an allnighter, then its usually fathers and grandfathers queuing up politely to buy generous amounts for breakfast with their families and finally by noon, the most relaxed and heterogeneous latecomers approach the stalls before they close. I love to go to buy churros on Sundays. The churro seller of the stall where I go is a cheerful man who spoils his customers giving them a churro each while they wait. Here we can see him pouring the dough into his massive frying pan, supervising the clientele while he fries the dough, cutting carefully the dough into delicious churros and weighing them before giving them out. He calls himself Bruce Willis from Cádiz!
