Chynah Sahura People criticize Rev. Al Sharpton all of the time, no one is above criticism, he has had some ruff spots, going through some tax issues right now, but I believe overall, the record shows, Rev. Sharpton is about the business of His People; I loved him because he always said what others refused to say. He was fiery, revolutionary, anti-establishment, he simmered down, often comes with age, and has learned to play the masters game, how to flow in the good ole boy network to get things done. Whenever a child has been killed, families have turned to Rev. Sharpton, not only because he can draw national attention, but because he is a man of the people, he feels the Souls of Black Folks. There is Black Leadership on many levels, but who is moving to the front to carry the burdens, to numerous to mention of our people? I dont see anyone but Rev. Sharpton standing in that position. Many dont want to give him the props, but I ask, who are the others who represent on a national level? This is why the families turn to Rev. Sharpton. In the past, he has been criticized for standing strong with our people blindly, defending wrong doing--I maintain that even when you wrong you wanna know someone is beside you--there is no question who he is defending now...
