Cicero Lime Canuto was born in January 19, 1893 in the city Natal, Rio Grande do Norte. At age 25 became Timboteua in Pará State On August 30, 1918 had a vision and understood its significance: baptism in the Holy Spirit. Morning told his brothers who would go to church with them and receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. On the evening of that day accompanied them to the worship hall. They knelt and Cicero too. Within a short time heard some believers speaking strange languages and asked Jesus, give me this power also. At the same moment he received the baptism in the Holy Spirit. In 1923, Cicero Canuto was consecrated to the holy ministry in Belém do Pará, the missionary Gunnar Vingren. Pastor Cicero Canuto de Lima pastored the Assembly of God in João Pessoa / PB, for fifteen years, beginning in June 1924. In February 1939 began shepherding AD St. Kitts / RJ and later the Church of Santos / SP. In 1946, he assumed leadership of the Assembly of God in Belenzinho in São Paulo / SP. Being the eighth senior pastor of the Assembly of God Bethlehem Ministry (Missions). Was leader of the General Convention of the Assemblies of God in Brazil (CGADB) 1947-1948. Chairman of the board of CGADB Convention in 1930, 1945, 1947 and 1957. In 1980. was retired by the Church Assembly of God (Belenzinho), in São Paulo, after 34 years of pastoring. Pastor Cicero Canuto de Lima died on October 2, 1982 at age 89. He was buried with the honors due to the last of the Brazilian pioneers of the Assemblies of God Ministry of Belém in Brazil.
