Cinefriends!! It’s time to announce December’s guest curator for MARVELOUS MOVIE MONDAYS, our weekly Facebook screening series where we bring in a new guest curator each month to bring a bit of cinema into your Facebook feed each Monday. For the second month in a row, we welcome an artist from across the pond! Hurray! Please join us in welcoming… LUCY WILLIAMS Lucy is a visual artist who works in collage, photography, and most recently in film. With her artwork, she aims to create new ways of perceiving images: within traditional collage and digital multi-exposures altering perspective, framing and scale, adding repetition and disruption to deliberately allow a misreading of visual signals, making the viewer create meaning in the gaps and juxtapositions. She also runs a London-based Community Interest Company, Fitzrovia Noir which exists to show art and installations in unusual settings. WELCOME, LUCY!!! And now, check out “Aperture,” her most recent film work, an experiment making pinhole images with a 4K digital cinematography camera. https://youtube/watch?v=zuYHYNPdYeU You can find her website at luciettawilliams/.
