Cinema undoubtedly is a modern art. Its an amalgamation of all art forms. I fail to understand and could only pity people who think, achievers in cinema deserve no state honor or recognition. I am shocked to see the kind of reaction to Vidya Balan being conferred with Padmasree. Apart from being a great actress, she also challenged and changed the way Hindi heroine is portrayed in Bollywood. She achieved what any female actor of this generation would aspire to achieve in Hindi cinema. If you have not seen her beyond Dirty Picture, dont rub your dirty minds on this achievement.
