Cineraria (or Pericallis x hybrida) is a flowering plant from the Asteraceae family. This is the result of hybridization of Pericallis cruenta and P. lanata, both natives of the Canary Islands. As you can see the flowers are pretty colorful (in blue, pink, purple, white, and bicolor). Grow the plant in a place with partial shade. Cineraria doesnt like warm places, so the temperature must have to be between 10 - 15oC. Protect the plants from frost, even when transporting the plant home.
