Circle The City, Open Streets, Open World on Blue Hill Avenue, #Roxbury WHEN: Sunday, September 28, 2014 WHERE: Blue Hill Avenue between Dudley Street and Warren Street (380 Blue Hill Ave for GPS) TIME: 1pm - 5pm COST: Free Blue Hill Avenue Closed to Cars; Open to the community Circle The City to Bring Thousands of Residents in the Streets for Play On *Sunday September 28, 2014 from 1pm – 5pm*, *Circle The City*: *Open Streets|Open World, Blue Hill Ave, *will close Blue Hill Avenue from Dudley Square to Grove Hall to buses and cars to allow for community celebration, collaboration and play. The event offers more than 100 free community participatory activities for residents and visitors to enjoy paved parks’ while on Blue Hill Avenue between Dudley Street and Warren Street. This is the second event of its kind to grace Blue Hill Ave. Last year’s event hosted more than 90 organizations and over 7000 people. Open Streets|Open World celebrates the vitality of our community and taps into a growing movement to infuse urban living with wellness, culture, and deep connections,” said Jhana Senxian, of Sustainability Guild International and Project Manager of the event. *Circle The Cit*y will showcase the neighborhood, community interests and talent, faith community and resources from along - and beyond - the Blue Hill Avenue corridor. Activities will span the one mile and feature 11 themed zones.
