Circle screens: Ive been able to fashion some pretty inexpensive 3.5 ft (~1m) circle screens using pvc irrigation tubing (pre-assembled by a custom hula hoop maker), spandex, and grommets. Now Im planning on building a 9-screen array of circles, ranging in size from 3.5ft to 8ft (~1m - 2.4m). Im concerned about the frame keeping its shape at the larger sizes. Im also going for light weight and cost. (Ive seen some expensive/elaborate diy circle screens, which are out of my project scope). Anyone care to comment on circle screen making : materials, techniques and issues?
