Cissie has continued to decline. I am continuing to make her comfortable. That involves medicating her pretty strongly for pain, getting her urine out, and turning and bathing her rear every hour to prevent worsening bed sores. Tomorrow will be her last day. I appreciate all the support and suggestions. It is truly difficult to say goodbye. But please respect that for us and for this dog that long term pain management and wheels are NOT an option. She will go with as much comfortable dignity as we can give her.
