Citizens For Green Doon initiative.. List of rehabilitation material being sent by CFGD to villages near Agastymuni. The final list has been complied by local residents yesterday and we should be delivering the items on 23rd November. 1. Two tailors, Village Silli Agastymuni , whose shops got washed away and have not got any relief till date, need sewing machines with stand and other accessories, Rs 15,000/- each approximately : a. Ramesh Lal b. Harshu Lal 2. Five vegetable sellers, who have lost all their belongings, need to restart their shops. We will give them vegetables worth Rs 10,000/- each, Rs 6000/- non perishable items like potatoes etc and Rs 4000/- perishable items. The money will be given directly to the vegetable suppliers. Their shops will reopen the day we visit the area. a. Naveen Negi: Village Baniyadi b. Pradeep Singh: Village Vijaynagar c. Hari Bahuguna : Village Vijaynagar d. Jagdish Gargi: Village Vijaynagar e. Shurveer Singh Rawat : Village Vijaynagar 3. One printer whose offset printing press has been badly damaged and he is in no condition to restart it. Approximate cost of repairs is Rs 30,000/-. The money will be paid to the repairing agency directly, probably from Dehra Dun. a. Devendra Jagwan: Augustyamuni 4. One child whose father died during the calamity and has also lost his home. He has no money to attend school, we will be paying his yearly tuition fees, atleast for this year, approx. Rs 3000/- a. Master Subhodh, Village Chandrapuri 5. One baker, who used to bake products and then sell them village to village on his scooter, has his scooter and bakery damaged. Needs help to repair his scooter and restart his bakery. We will give him items he needs to restart his bakery and pay for the repair of his scooter. Approximate cost should be around Rs 15,000/-. a. Satye Singh Negi : Village Vijaynagar 6. A photographer who lost his house and photography equipment. We will give him a camera to restart his business. Approximate cost Rs 30,000/- a. Surendra Bhandari: Village Vijaynagar 7. Rosewood school in Ausustyamuni needs to be rebuilt. Nearby people have donated tin sheets for the roof but the walls are still of plastic sheets. We need to give the school tin sheets for building the walls. Approx cost is Rs 30,000/- 8. We would also be giving sweaters, shoes, gloves, warm caps, school bags and pens to about 250 students in 5 different schools in the area. if you are interested in donating or coming along.. contact:9997400303
