City On A Hill - Sinton (San Patricio County Fairgrounds) 2 Corinthians 2:32-33 says, In Damascus the governor, under Aretas the king, was guarding the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desiring to arrest me; 33 but I was let down in a basket through a window in the wall, and escaped from his hands. Let me tell you right now, No matter what you are going through, no matter where you are, there is always a way of escape. The Bible says that while Paul is being chased and pursued and desiring to arrest him that suddenly there appeared a window. Windows re-present openings, passage and paradigms. In other words, windows are a new way of seeing things. The Bible says that they put him in the basket and they let him down. Sometimes your let down is your way out. I was thinking about how many times that we have been let down in life and how many people have watched us go down. They thought it was over. They thought you were going down for the last time, but what they didn’t know was, that your let down was really your way of escape and now you are about to go to your next room of destiny. Don’t worry about being let down. People will disappoint you, reject you, hurt you, write you off and call you names, but your let down is your step into the next place that God has ordained you to be. Be encouraged because God is about to put a basket in your situation ............ Pastor I
