City To Surf 2014..... What an awesomely humungous day had by all. Two busloads of trotters travelled down and dropped off for the short walk to the various start groups. Cool and overcast skys greeted us but it didnt take away from the exitement of the event. Even though I dont know all the results there were some good ones.Kirsten Ambler did an awsome time achieving her goal. Idid a pb of 4 mins 30 secs in a time of 68 mins 9 secs.Achieved my goal and and a bit more.Red group here we come. In my typical giant killing mode I have rolled another elite runner in the form of Mick Miles. Time to leave the Ridler alone. To Jake and Dean well done for having a go and finishing.Thankyou to Trotters and our two drivers you are the best.Note the healthy option taken for a recovery meal. I owe my time to the encouragement of Graham Fowler and Dave Byrnes.Many laughs were had and I highly recommend any Trotter who is yet to tackle the City To Surf to do it next year.Finally thankyou To my wife Jo for being part of it with me today.
